One of the things we offer are some specialty services which may come in quite handy for a person or family who is moving. Today we’re going to talk about some of the options we offer and situations where these services might fit the need.
Packing
When a family chooses a flat rate moving option, packing can be added for an added fee. The value of this service can’t be underestimated, as moving is an exhausting experience. Many people choose to pay the additional trip charge to have the packing crew come out the day before the move to help pack instead of waiting until the day of the move.
In some cases, the family just got behind in their packing and want the added boost of having fast, professional movers. In other instances, busy professionals, senior citizens, new mothers, and those who are physically unable will also have our crew come pack for them. In fact, they will ask us to supply the boxes, as well.
Even though there is a two-hour minimum, two hours isn’t a lot of time to pack. A professional can pack much more quickly and safely than a homeowner in a two hour time allotment.
Loading and unloading (only)
The loading and unloading service is another excellent way to cut down on the effort of moving, even in the event you are driving some or all of your belongings yourself. An example of this is when a family is moving but are not taking all of their belongings with them. So, perhaps a friend or family member outside the household brought a truck and wishes to have some of the furniture or boxes. We can help load and unload.
Another example of this is when the family decides to have a pod shipped. We can help load or unload a pod. As with packing, there is a two-hour minimum and a trip charge if the crew isn’t already there.
Piano moving
We have talked in other blogs about piano moving. A possession as valuable as a piano should be handled by a team of professionals who will move it with care.
What we don’t offer
One of the things we don’t offer is service fees, fuel charges, or hidden taxes. We need for you to be as informed as possible about the cost of the move. The reason we have this policy is that we are professional, know our industry, our skills, and our value. When someone hires us, we feel it’s reasonable to pass that expertise on to the customer in the form of understanding what their move will cost them.
